James graduates preschool

James had a great year at APL preschool with his teachers Mrs. Kastner and Mrs. Kitzerow.  James' favorite part of school without a doubt were his friends though.  He eagerly would ask each morning if he had school that day.  He would then plan playdates, preferably at his friends' houses if it were left up to him.  As many times as I tried to explain that you can't invite yourself over to someone else's house, he didn't get it!  He made some wonderful friends at school though and it has been fun getting to know their families.

So proud.  And so handsome!

James was killing us with his crossed little legs during the ceremony.  The kids did a performance highlighting each month of learning.  It was very impressive.  At one point, during a song, the students were prompted to hug a friend.  Everyone turned to the student next to them and hugged. It so happened that a few of James good boy friends were placed next to each other.  James turned to hug the little girl next to him, Peyton, but then noticed his boy friends were all hugging.  He ditched her and did a group hug with the guys.  Peyton gave a stunned, "What the heck?" look to the audience.  It was hilarious.

Getting his diploma

Dear James,
We are so proud of how you have grown this year.  You are a smart, charming, and fun little boy.  You have moved from writing your name as 'Jam' to "James'.  You know most of your letters and letter sounds, can count to 50 (and maybe even 100!), and make friends with such ease.  You play nicely with others and really care about doing the right thing.  You are sensitive.  I hope you always love school the way you did this year!  Know that you are capable of doing anything, and Dad and I will always be your biggest cheerleaders.  You are so special, and I am so grateful you are mine.  My most favorite little boy in the entire world!

Love you more than you know!
Mom
