St. Nicolas brought us tickets to take a train to the North Pole. It was so exciting going to the train depot in East Troy and inquiring about St. Nicholas' note. We were given 5 tickets to ride an old rail train. There were a few Elves that joined us on our trip.
Caroline did not like one of the Elves. As we waited on the train he made silly faces and threw snowballs at the windows. She would not take her eyes of that elf and cried when he came near her. She is usually exceptionally good with strangers - feels funny to say that - but she did not like that elf!
We saw Santa's workshop with Madelyn said was disguised with Elegant Farmer signs. We had always wondered how Santa had money to buy the gifts he couldn't make. It turns out the people (who Madelyn said are actually Elves in disguise) sell items at the workshop. We bought some peanut butter balls and checked out the rest of the store before returning back to the train.
We decorated Gingerbread Houses.
The kids had their school sing! James looked so handsome!
Madelyn was so excited for the Blitzin Boogie - where she had a dancing role as a reindeer. I loved seeing her all dressed up. It might have been less of a battle this year than last!
