So over the last 6 months, three of my near and dear friends have tied the knot! Weddings are magical. Both for what they represent and for the time I spend with my girlfriends. Time with them is precious. The older (eeekkk) we get, the more time there seems to be between our reunions. But in that very moment, it's as if we were just together yesterday.
In May, Audra and Josh were wed. Their wedding was incredible. The details. The location. The weather. Event after event. We were wined and dined. We toasted. We cried. We smiled. We exercised. We beautified. We drank. Oh did we drink!
It was such a relaxed wedding day. Well for the girls at least. Audra's friend Tim, who was part of the wedding party, did not have the most restful day, as he ran around for Audra and went dumpster diving to retrieve gifts so accidentally left behind.
Audra asked me to be her bridesmaid by mailing me this dress. It is gorgeous. It was such a creative and thoughtful gesture.
Love.
Laughter is never fair when we are all together
After Audra's wedding we celebrated Lex and Josh's wedding in September! It was at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. It was my first wedding that incorporated the Jewish faith. And what fun are their traditions! The ceremony began a few minutes late as we waited for Lexi's brother in law, Steve who was rushing in from North Carolina. He had been camped out at the airport for the previous two days waiting to get on a flight. He literally ran the last few blocks to the hotel with his suitcase over his head, flew into his tux, and proceeded down the isle. I'm a sap. I cried as everyone applauded. It really was straight out of the movies! Lex and Josh wanted an elegant, beautiful, yet simple affair. They hit the mark! Lexi beamed the entire evening.

Lexi and Josh did their first look prior to the ceremony. I love this picture. You can see Lexi's pure happiness. Your smile could not be any brighter, friend.
Mr. and Mrs. Herz
Mommas' night out!
Love this man in a suit!
Finally we closed out 2014 wedding season, with Steve and Amanda's wedding. It was such a special day filled with emotion, love, and the couple's personality. This wedding screamed Steve and Amanda. There was sentiment built into every moment of the ceremony and reception. It was such a joy to see two people I love so dearly become husband and wife.
Seriously the most photogenic people I know. Gorgeous. On the outside and the insdie.
Amanda made all of these dresses. Stunning. Her talent was showcased throughout the venue.
The UW marching band and a Talking Heads cover band played. So so much fun!
And a photo booth. Um, yes!!
All three of these ladies had such beautiful wedding weekends. I had so much fun celebrating each of you and your love. Seriously, the weddings just keep getting better and better.
