4th of July

Happy 4th of July

We made our annual trip to Indiana for the 4th of July. Our trip was filled with great fun, food, family and friends. It was also filled with a few difficulty moments.

Watching the fireworks! Madelyn woke up to watch the show. She thought it was party time then....she was up until 2am. She woke up hysterical at 6 am. We packed up the car and headed home.

We went to the pool on the 4th!

Madelyn is one determined little girl. Next to this slide is a net that one can climb up. She really is far too little to be able to do this, but she refused to believe it. I was helping her climb up it, and when she was almost to the top, she smashed her face. She cut her tongue a little. As soon as she calmed down, she went right back for that net. And she made it to the top too! Love this about her!
