We received great news today at Madelyn's Orthopedic doctor's appointment! The cast technician (who knew this was a specific profession) removed the casts, and the doctor examined her feet. He looked up at me, "She's cured." He just smiled beaming with pride! We were proud too! Thanks Doc!

Her little footsies are completely corrected! Two weeks ahead of schedule! We are elated!
We celebrated with lunch at Cafe Hollander in the Wauwatosa Village. It was so nice. It was the first time we've taken Madelyn to a restaurant and the first time I've been outside of the house since Sunday (so needed!!!)! She did great! This outing made me feel like a real mom too...nursed the girl in the car prior to going in, changed her diaper in the bathroom! Hey, I'm getting this motherhood thing down!!
