An Art Gala and Lost Tooth for Madelyn

Madelyn was selected to represent the Kindergarteners from Ben Franklin at the District Art Gallery Night. She led off the entire show by accepting her award.  We were able to view over 150 pieces of art and the kids partook in some hands on art activities. It was a nice evening!

 Madelyn loves art and creating.  It was no surprise to me that she was selected~

 That same night Madelyn lost her first tooth! It had been wiggling for a few days now and she was so eager for it to fall out!  I was in her bedroom as we had just finished her bedtime routine and she ran out to grab something.  She came back with her tooth in her hand (and a bloody mouth!).  She said she just 'pushed it back and it fell out'! She was beyond excited! Being the practical girl she is, she decided to leave the tooth out on her dresser with a note attached for the Tooth Fairy.  She was pumped to see the Tooth Fairy wrote her back and left a $2 bill, something special and rare, just like Madelyn~
