This Winter Madelyn had two firsts on skates!
She went Rollerskating with her school. She was 1 of 2 of the Junior Kindergartners who braved skating! We had to go back a few times to have her wheels tightened, but when we did get the right amount of roll, she was unstoppable. She played the limbo and raced her friend Luca. Although I don't think Luca knew he was racing!
The day after Christmas we met all of Madelyn's cousins and second cousins at the Janesville Ice arena. Madelyn was a little more cautious on skates. We had left the Christmas party the night before because Madelyn had an ear infection. I don't think she was quite back to herself while skating. We did a few laps and she was ready to be done.
