15 Months Old!

Madelyn's 15 month appointment was not as exciting as usual. The doctor was in the mist of transitioning to electronic charting and seemed to be having difficulty. After arriving 1 hour late for our appointment, Dr. Hing was rather preoccupied with getting her computer mouse working. Ahh...such is life.

I was well aware that Madelyn was growing and progressing nicely and didn't need the doc to ooh and aah over her (although it's aways fun!). She has over 30 words expressively and some two word combinations. At the time of her appointment, she was just beginning to walk independently from room to room in our house; however, she was rather shy during her appointment and insisted on holding my hand while walking.

Other tidbits:

~ I unsuccessfully tried to transition Madelyn from two naps to one this week. Baby girl likes her sleep I guess.

~ Madelyn is still an excellent eater and her appetite hasn't slowed down much at all

~ She continues to love Llama Llama and sleeps with him and her farm animal blanket

~ Books, puzzles, tupperware, and pots and pans are still loads of fun

~ Madelyn enjoys taking items from one area to another again and again....such as taking one dog toy at a time over to the coffee table

~ She started doing the CHEESE face

~ She is repeating words like crazy. Daddy has been WARNED!
