First soccer practice

I signed the kids up for Mikro Soccer through the Milwaukee Kickers soccer club. It is a program for children 3-5 focused on play games involving soccer skills. They were both so pumped to start! Madelyn pulled out her cleats last night and ran around her bedroom proclaiming her speed! 

They both did a great job following directions, sticking with an activity, and kicking the ball around! I think running for a hour was tiresome for both of them! Jay came over to talk to me about Batman. When I reminded him he was still at soccer practice, he took off his stocking cap, tossed it at me, and said, "fine" as he ran back on the field.

Madelyn said her favorite part was kicking goals. Jay said his was knocking down the cones, which they were told to do, FYI. At dinner Jay announced, "I love it there."

I signed the kids up in Franklin as we are hoping to move as soon as three weeks. I ran into a high school classmate and a current student almost immediately. Welcome to suburbia!
